About the Founder: A Bridge Between Continents
An African businesswoman originally from Cameroon, and for over thirty years, I’ve called Hong Kong home. My heart beats for Africa: its culture, creativity, and cuisine and I’ve made it my mission to share that soul with the vibrant people of this city.
From curating unforgettable cultural events to founding and managing the legendary Makumba Bar Live Music, I’ve spent decades blending African rhythm with Hong Kong’s cosmopolitan spirit. These experiences have gifted me deep expertise in entertainment, branding, and cultural storytelling.
My work is rooted in legacy and lifted by innovation.
Today, I’m channelling that passion into MAKUMBA NOIR GOLD Coffee, a premium artistic and cultural brand, and breathing new life into Makumba, not just as a space, but as a movement. We’re creating not only places to dine and gather, but sanctuaries of meaning, where every flavour tells a story and every event is a celebration of identity.
